Objectives To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs. To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church. To raise funds for mission outreach.
Building God's Kingdom by Personal Involvement Several opportunities are given each year for you to be directly involved in Work & Witness projects. Work & Witness is much more than just an opportunity to build a building or hand out tracts. It is a way to put feet to your faith. God gives us a unique opportunity to share His love and get to know people from a different place. What a joy it is to see evangelism, children's events, medical clinics and many technical needs being met along with building buildings for God's kingdom. Ecuador	Alabaster Offerings Your next opportunity to give an Alabaster offering is September, 2008.
	Twice a year, in September and February, the Church of the Nazarene receives special Alabaster offerings. The money from these offerings is used to build church buildings and pastors' homes in other parts of the world. The current emphasis is on building in Africa, the Middle East, and Guatemala.
