Jonathan Privett began his assignment as Senior Pastor Baker City on Easter Sunday, 2003. He was formerly pastor of the Church of the Nazarene at Five Mile Church of the Nazarene in Boise (1989-2003), Idaho and Pierce Church of the Nazarene in Pierce, Idaho (1986-1989).

He completed the Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion at Northwest Nazarene University in 1982 and a Masters of Divinity at Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1986. He was ordained in the Northwest District in April of 1988.

Pastor Jon and his wife, Cathleen, have two children, Sarah and Emilie.
